The power of internships in your job search

Getting an internship in college pays off down the road.
An internship can be a great chance to apply what you know to real life — and experience what life is like for those in your chosen profession. If you’re in high school, it can provide a view into the workplace and help you decide on a major. As a college student, an internship gives you the opportunity to see if your passion may truly turn into a career — or, if it’s not the right fit, it can motivate you to explore other options. In the process, you can gain experience and make valuable connections.
Plus, according to surveys of college graduates, internships may help you land a job once you’re out of college.
